Mediacreate’s Hardware/Software sales for the week of 12/9 – 12/15 (Japan)
December 19th, 2002 (12:00am) - The Legend of Zelda Kaze no Takuto has arrived in Japan and its impact is a massive one. Since its release on the 13th of the December (In Japan only of course), Kaze no Takuto has managed to sell a massive 407,700 units in just two days topping the charts and ranking in first place for the best selling game of that week. In similar news, GameCube sales spiked up reaching 67,500 pieces sold. All hardware sales respectively doubled from the previous week and surprisingly for the first time since its release the Xbox has sold more than the aging PSone.
