Capcom developing a Gundam game for the TriForce arcade hardware…
January 9th, 2003 (12:00am) - In the latest issue of the Japanese magazine Arcadia, Capcom revealed that they are currently in development with their first game for Nintendo’s TriForce arcade board. This game will be based on the Gundam franchise; which part of the Gundam universe and any other details about the game are unknown at the present time. The game is expected to be fully unveiled in February at the AOU arcade show.
My Thoughts:The strong Capcom support for the GameCube continues… Just incase you were wondering, Capcom has had the rights to develop Gundam games for awhile now, with their first console release being Gundam Federation vs. Zeon DX for the Playstation 2, but it was published by Bandai. Since, the TriForce board is based on the GameCube hardware, I would expect this newest Gundam title to be ported to the GameCube shortly after its arcade release.
