The Megaton revealed! No, I’m not lying…
January 10th, 2003 (12:00am) - The Megaton announcement rumors first surfaced from the Japanese gaming magazine, V-Jump. All that stuff about boosting GameCube sales worldwide all originated from V-Jump, since they said it themselves of course. Well, is just so happens that the Megaton is not an announcement but just a game, a GameCube game based off a popular comic featured V-Jump’s magazine publication. Now, isn’t that some crazy sh!t. It was just gimmick to hype up V-Jump’s GameCube title. Who would have thought it could have caused this much mass hysteria among GameCube owners and fans worldwide? But the thing which has to be the oddest of them all is that, while we were expecting this Megaton announcement we saw a significant amount of amazing things happen in the world of the GameCube; such as Capcom’s 5 exclusives, the GBA Player, and the uber cool Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time pre order deal.
