Some info revealed about THQ’s next wave of WWE games!

February 6th, 2003 (12:00am) - You might try to hide it, but deep down inside you know you crave one of THQ’s WWE titles. Even though Aki isn’t behind any of the new THQ wrestling games, people keep coming back for more, and the numbers have proven it time after time. Some information has slipped out from under THQ and GamersMark has it for all those wrestling fans out there.

Wrestlemania XIX (GameCube):

GameCube fans were pissed off the most when Aki and THQ parted ways, but THQ is taking another shot at their GameCube series of wrestling games. This latest installment in the Wrestlemania franchise will feature improved animations and a feature something not included in a Wrestling game since the Nintendo 64’s No Mercy…BLOOD!

SmackDown! 2003:

The backstage brawler takes a huge leap, the ability to freely roam the backstage areas in third person perspective ala Metal Gear Solid. The storylines are back as well, with a multiple amount of unique ones specifically written for the game, a visual overhaul is also rumored.

WWE RAW 2: Ruthless Aggression:

Ruthless Aggression is the game we all wanted the first to be. The ability to rip music from your Xbox HD and play them as entrance themes will finally be implemented as well as that career mode we were all hoping for. The appropriate visual enhancements will also be present, this time the crowd will be rendered in 3D.
