New animated cartoon based on Capcom’s MegaMan EXE…

February 15th, 2003 (12:00am) - Long ago (well not too long ago) there was a MegaMan cartoon show, along with many other videogame based cartoon shows such as Sonic the Hedgehog. Anyone who was around to see the show would tell you that it kicked some ass. Yes, it was corny, yes all the characters featured huge eyes, just like Link from his newest GameCube adventure The Wind Waker, but it was a great show nonetheless, and Kids’ WB, along with Sho Pro Entertainment, is reviving another one of our childhood cartoons with “MegaMan: NT Warrior”.

“MegaMan: NT Warrior” premiered in Japan last March, and it has garnered enough success for the WB to bring it stateside. NT Warrior follows a ten-year old girl named Lan and her superhero alter ego, Mega Man. The story is set in the not-so-distant future, where everything is connected to a central computer system and threatening hackers loom.

"It’s part ’Matrix,’ part ’Pokemon,"’ said Kids WB programming executive John Hardman. "We do consider this a high marquee property and expect it will hit just as strongly in the U.S."

So we have our Kirby cartoons, we now have a cartoon based of the MegaMan EXE, as well as the triumphant return of the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, but I have one question. Nintendo, where are those old Super Mario and Zelda shows!?
