February 19^th, 2003 (12:00am) - THQ has unveiled their newest game, Sphinx for the Nintendo GameCube and Playstation 2. Developed by Eurocom, the guys behind EA’s James Bond and Harry Potter games, Sphinx is an original interactive adventure game, which, according to THQ, will bring the character-based, action-adventure genre to new heights. The game itself is set in an entirely original universe based on ancient Egypt, and its civilizations. In Sphinx players will embark exploring new worlds, uncovering dark secrets, interacting with hundreds of fantastic creatures, and discovering new abilities, with gameplay and a storyline which promises to be deep, action packed, and compelling.

"Sphinx has the potential to be something very special. Sphinx is scheduled to ship this Fall.
