Bandai gets lucky with Dragon Ball Z: Budokai…

February 19th, 2003 (12:00am) - Well, I wouldn’t exactly call it luck. I mean c’mon Dragon Ball Z, no matter what part of the world you’re in, is one of the most popular things around, and games based on the series, crappy or not, have been selling extremely well since the days of the Super Nintendo. With that said, Bandai has announced that they have shipped 1.92 million units of Budokai worldwide, in 20 different countries, and if the trend continues many, many more…No wonder Bandai was quick to let news slip of a GameCube version.
