Capcom’s Glass Rose is real!

February 25th, 2003 (12:00am) - More than a year ago we heard rumors about a game from Capcom called Glass Rose, but the game seemed to be shrouded in mystery. After a long wait, the game has finally been revealed and to many, it’s not at all the game we were hoping for.

Glass Rose is a psycho suspense adventure game, in which you play as a newspaper journalist who begins to investigate a case of homicide in 1929. Though, there’s a catch, the main character must use the ability of time travel to visit the site of the event.

Glass Rose (Glass no Bara in Japan) will feature motion capture 3DCG visuals, with the main character modeled after the Japanese actor Masahiro Matsuoka.

Glass Rose was originally rumored to be in development for both the PS2 and the Nintendo GameCube, but as of now the game has only been announced for the Playstation 2.
