February 27^th, 2003 (12:00am) - It’s only a Japanese release date, but it’s better than nothing. Gamers awaiting the release of Sega/Hitmaker’s Virtua On: MARZ will be pleased to know it’s slated for a March 29th release date in Japan, with a US release soon afterwards.

Virtua On has always been one of my favorite Sega franchises since the Saturn days. The Dreamcast version, which I dub VOOT because the acronym is much easier to type than the long Japanese words, was a very very good game but unfortunately wasn’t on a "mainstream" system. Hopefully with the release of MARZ PS2 fans will discover the joys of a truly good mech game.
