March 11^th, 2003 (12:00am) - Chief Operating Officer Geoffrey Mulligan at Konami of America Inc. announced today that Kurt Busch has been appointed Vice President of Product Development, effective immediately. In his new role, Mr. Busch will direct the product development team at Konami of America as well as oversee the management of externally developed titles.

Mr. Busch brings 12 years of experience in the computer and videogame industry to his new role. He has served in executive positions at Sierra Online, Sega of America and Infogrames North America. Prior to joining Konami, Mr. Busch was the Executive Producer at BAM! Entertainment in San Jose, California, where he managed original product development and was responsible for the Cartoon Network franchise and other licensed intellectual properties.

Commenting on the appointment, Mr. Mulligan stated, "With his extensive industry experience, Kurt will be a valuable addition to Konami as we move forward in 2003."

Mr. Mulligan, a global marketing and business strategist, joined Konami of America in September 2002 and brings with him over 22 years of experience in sales, distribution, and marketing management with consumer entertainment and internet technology companies. In his role as C.O.O., Mr. Mulligan is responsible for Konami of America’s product development, sales, marketing, operations, product services and financial services departments.
