Vivendi Universal and FOX Interactive make publishing agreement…
March 12th, 2003 (12:00am) - It was revealed today that Vivendi Universal has made an exclusive publishing agreement with FOX Interactive… This deal allows Vivendi Universal to publish and distribute at least 10 new games based on franchises from FOX. As of the moment only a handful of games were announced, such as Buffy The Vampire Slayer 2 for the Xbox, The X-Files: Reist or Serve for the both the Xbox and PS2, a port of the GameCube game Die Hard: Vendetta for the Playstation 2, The World’s Scariest Police Chases 2 for the PS2, and finally a yet to be announced driving game based on The Simpsons (A sequel to Road Rage?). The deal also gives Vivendi the use any future and current Fox properties to use as grounds for developing future titles.
