Namco revives Famitsa baseball on the GameCube and GBA…

March 13th, 2003 (12:00am) - Namco has confirmed the company’s plans to revive their Famitsa baseball franchise on the Nintendo GameCube and Game Boy Advance. The game, which is expected to hit Japanese shelves this May, is expected to feature the series’ unique visual style. The GameCube installment of the game will incorporate new features to the series, such as the ability to coach, and train you respective teams. Doing this allows players to create their own teams and players, eventually training them to be the best they can be.

This game obviously has no chance in hell to make it stateside, but it does sound interesting nonetheless. If you know Japanese, and if you love baseball sims, than you might consider importing the title. But I doubt many of you speak Japanese, and love baseball… Wait, baseball is big in Japan! Ah, screw it.
