Chris Vrenna to compose original track for the ‘Enter the Matrix’ video game…

March 22nd, 2003 (12:00am) - It has been revealed that Chris Vrenna, on one founding members of the band Nine Inch Nails, is composing an original track for the Enter the Matrix video game, which is being released the same day as The Matrix: Reloaded movie, on May 15th. Vrenna’s song for the game is appropriately named “Take the Pill”.

"For me, it does not get any better than this," said Vrenna. "I am a huge fan of the Matrix movie and from what I have seen so far from the videogame, it’s going to be amazing. When they asked me to get involved, I dropped everything to contribute."

Vrenna is known for his work with U2 for remixing Elevation for the Tomb Raider movie soundtrack, and other musical groups such as Drowning Pool and P.O.D, remixing songs for movie soundtracks. Vrenna is currrently recording a new album under his alter-ego name of Tweaker, which will be released this year.
