XBox LIVE reaches 500,000 users, Nintendo doesnt care
April 1st, 2003 (12:00am) - In a recent article in a Seattle magazine, Microsoft announced memberships for their XBox Live online service have eclipsed the half-million mark. MS and Sony have been in a battle of numbers for months now, its good to see some real competition in the console business.
In the same article Nintendo again stood their ground against online gaming, saying its too risky, and to "Look for the console wars to heat up again in 2005. Thats when Nintendo is looking to release its new system." Bad news for any GCN online fan getting tired of PSO. Reported by Andy Matheson on April 1st, 2003 (12:00am) [From: Gamerfeed]
