Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy announced!
April 3rd, 2003 (12:00am) - Today, LucasArts told the world, or at least part of it, that they are in the process of making Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy for the PC and the Microsoft Xbox. This part of the Jedi Knight series is being developed by Raven Software. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy is a single and multiplayer action game that features an all new Jedi Knight story. The gamer takes on the role of an apprentice Jedi that is training at Luke Skywalkers Jedi Academy, where you will learn the power, and the danger, of the force. The game is said to include twice as many locales as those in Star Wars: Jedi Outcast. Star Wars Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy allows gamers to create their own characters; gamers can choose a number of different attributes including species, gender, clothes, and even customized lightsabers, sweet. And of course, as you progress, different and more powerful lightsabers will be made available to you. The story takes place shortly after the Star Wars: Jedi Outcast game. You begin by choosing your character, and beginning your apprenticeship to learn the ways of The Force. While you are busy honing your skills in different missions, a group begins causing trouble in the galaxy. Until you restore peace to the galaxy, the fate of the Academy and the Galaxy itself are at threat. Well keep you informed if and when they release more info. Reported by Stephen V.
