Midnight Club II ships today

April 8th, 2003 (12:00am) - Rockstar announced today that it has begun shipping the second installment to its "greatestn hits" sequal, Midnight Club II. Rockstar’s latest racing title will feature online play and has even already begun turning heads, the Offical (U.S.)Playstation Magazine gave the than-unreleased title, a 5 out of 5 and even awarded it game of the month.

"For over two years, we have worked non-stop to ensure that
Midnight Club II delivers an experience unmatched in terms of
open-ended, non-linear racing action and quite simply, the fastest
racing game ever created," said Dan Houser, Vice President of
Creative. "With sprawling urban environments, over 30 vehicles, and
engaging, immersive online modes, Midnight Club II is set to redefine
the racing genre."

My Opinion
Hmmm, its been awhile since theres been a racer out there that i’ve seamlessly liked, well, not since Sega GT 2002 anyway, which i thought was marred because it didnt feature online play. Could this be the racer of all racers? tough to say, with constant praises from Capcom’s Auto Modellista filling the air, it would appear that this month is hot on racers. We’ll see what we can do to get you lovely readers out there a review posted ASAP.
