April 18^th, 2003 (12:00am) - With the zombie plague unleashed on Racoon City, at the end of the first movie. With our heroine Alice stranded, Resident Evil: Nemesis proceeds to cover territory familiar to fans of the video game series. The sequel to Resident Evil has been in the works for some time, and will even feature charcters from the Videogame series.

As previously reported, Milla Jovovich is returning as Alice, the only survivor in the first who has survived the horrors of Umbrella’s underground research laboratories only to emerge into the hell that is now Raccon City. Also returning is Eric Mabius as Matt Addison, the infected human who becomes the Nemesis, the film’s main villain.

The most important character making a crossover from the console games is Jill Valentine from the game. Paul Anderson tried to get Mira Sorvino or Natasha Henstridge for the part, but declined. Jill will be leading a group of survivors with Alice through the afflicted city of zombies.

Umbrella Biohazard Countermeasure Force’s Carlos Olivera(RE3 fag boy) makes the jump from the Nemesis game to the Nemesis movie as a commando sent to Raccoon City to right the zombie invasion. He joins Jill and Alice as one of the good guys.

Other key charcters include Major Cain another Umbrella soldier, whose interest is in pitting Nemesis against Alice to test his company’s creation. Also Dr. Ashford is the well-meaning scientist whose formula for creating super-humans fell into the hands of Umbrella.

Another small bite of joy isn the rumor that the movie will open up with a 3 min Resident Evil 4 trailer.

My Thoughts
I don’t like the fact that they are mixing the Vgame charcters with the movie. And to mix with the worst game & charcters in the series pisses me off. Use Billy or Leon for crying out loud!!!
