Capcom Cans 18 Titles...

April 18th, 2003 (12:00am) - Capcom revealed today that it would be changing its expected 12.7 billion yen loss to 19.5 billion yen due to less than expected sales of key titles. The company also revised its projected sales from 70.5 billion yen to 61.9 billion yen.

Titles that did not meet sales expectations include Breath of Fire 5 (PS2), Clock Tower 3 (PS2), Biohazard 0 (GCN), Chaos Legion (PS2) and P.N.03 (GCN). Other titles fared better, with Capcom pointing to strong sales of Gyakuten Saiban, its Japan-only GBA courtroom-based adventure game, and the GBA Rockman EX. The Rockman title beat expectations by a significant margin, seeing sales 170% higher than expected.

Don’t worry Capcom still has 80 other games comming.

My Thoughts
Serves them right for making Resident Evil Online.

~ditto~
