Konami to publish Hudson’s NES remakes on the Nintendo GameCube…
May 27th, 2003 (12:00am) - Hudson announced a few months ago, that they would be re-releasing NES classics on the Nintendo GameCube in celebration of the Nintendo Entertainment System’s 20th anniversary in Japan, where it is known as the Famicom. The first two games to be re-released will be Lode Runner and Star Soldier and both will be sold for 3200 Yen, each being published by gaming giant Konami. There are suspected to be six games in total, all featuring enhanced visuals and that addicting gameplay Hudson titles are known for.
