Illusion Softworks’ Mafia is coming to consoles.
May 28th, 2003 (12:00am) - Gotham Games and Illusion Softworks’ have finally confirmed the development of Mafia, the 1930’s take on Rockstar’s Grand Theft Auto, for the PlayStation 2, the Xbox, and even the once thought to be canned GameCube version. According to Illusion Softworks’, the game’s developer, the console versions of Mafia will be identical in every aspect compared to the already released, acclaimed PC version of the game. This means the fun of being a 1930’s mobster will not being a hindered experience, like some PC to console ports have ended up being in the past. Mafia is scheduled for a Q4 2003 release.
