Half Life 2 - Still on track
June 9th, 2003 (12:00am) - Contrary to earlier reports, this summer’s PC sure-hit Half Life 2 will indeed be coming to the Microsoft Xbox. In a recent story by the Puget Sound Business Journal, Xbox project manager David Hufford was quoted wrongly as saying: “As of now, Half-Life 2 is not going to be on the Xbox.” However, Valve Software’s very own Doug Lombardi commented today that indeed Half Life 2 will be coming to Xbox. "Half-Life 2 is planned for the PC and Xbox. Weve announced the shipping date for the PC version, and well announce a shipping date for the Xbox version later in the year." The PC version of Half Life 2 is slated to ship on September 30th of this year. We’ll keep you updated on any further developments.
