This week’s chart gets topped off by Nintendo’s remakes of Mother 1 & 2 for the Game Boy Advance, which sold an approximate 160,300 units for the week. Other noteable entries in the top ten are Bandai’s Enter the Matrix for the PlayStation 2 in the number 3 spot and the Sonic Adventure DX for the GameCube in 4th. And yes, you’re eyes are not deceiving you… Pokemon Ruby and Sapphire are still there.

Hardware

Ah, so what’s new on the hardware front? Nothing much really… The PlayStation 2, like always, ranks in at number one with 46,900 pieces sold with the Game Boy Advance SP on its tail. Wait! What’s this? Is that the GameCube I see!? Yes, it is! Surprisingly, perhaps due to the new Game Boy Player/ GameCube bundle that just went into effect, the GameCube has sold 20 times more than what it sold the previous week, selling 20,900 pieces of hardware ranking in third…Perhaps it’s not over yet.
