July 17^th, 2003 (12:00am) - Ah, Baten Kaitos… A game that GameCube owners have known about for ages, but what they actually knew about the game was close to nothing. Now, thanks to the newest issue of the Weekly Shonen, Baten Kaitos has finally been unveiled, in what seems to be a Card Based RPG from Monolift Saga, the creators of Namco’s XenoSaga. From the screens it seems that the game shares a artistic resemblance to Square’s Chrono Cross for the PlayStation, yet with from these small screens it becomes hard to tell if whether or not the backgrounds are rendered in real time or prerendered.

Baten Kaitos is scheduled for release December 2003 in Japan, exclusively for the Nintendo GameCube… Floating Islands ROCK!
