July 18^th, 2003 (12:00am) - The long awaited third installment in Yu Suzuki’s groundbreaking, yet highly overlooked, Shenmue franchise is indeed in development, according to AM2 representatives, with the tentatively named Shenmue III: Special Edition. AM2 has decided to do something really special with this “Special Edition” game package. Not only will the package feature the newest, and possibly final, installment in the saga but as well as both Shemue and Shenmue II. No word on what platform(s) Shenmue III: Special Edition will appear on, but it looks as if it will appear on multiple platforms, or at least the PS2. No tentative release or price has been announced.
