Tweaknews.net vs. fraud.

July 23rd, 2003 (12:00am) - Generally, we come across cases that seem like they should belong on a Fox television special, and this one just happens to be one of them. Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to "When Stupidity Attacks."

Today i received an Email from Tweaknews.net head editor telling yours truely of someone, possibly a reader, whom had preformed an act of fruad as he/she/it used Tweaknews.net’s head Editor, Nathan’s name to email certain assorted companies and proceeded to ask them for certain material for review.

The plan of the would be Nathan was discovered in time before any real damage could be done (i assume.) but the stupid part of this situation has yet to be revealed.

Any time anyone within this choatic industry communicates with a person(s) representing a conglamourate party, people generally leave their contact information. The fella posing as Tweaknews.net’s Nathan actually left HIS REAL CONTACT INFORMATION, which would be his address and telephone number.

Needless to say, the person responsible for all this nuttyness, is now under legal action. but let that be a lesson to all you would be posers. dont be stupid.
