Maxx Payne sues Max Payne
July 28th, 2003 (12:00am) - In a saturday published report from the Associated Press, the professional wrestler Maxx Payne sues the makers of the very entitled popular game, Max Payne. He has filed a $10 million dollar lawsuit on Rockstar, well known makers of games like GTA: Vice City and Max Payne. Maxx Payne has also filed this lawsuit on other well known developers and publishers Gathering of Developers, 3D Realms Entertainment, and Remedy Entertainment Ltd. Darryl Peterson, Maxx Paynes real name, says in the AP, "I left wrestling to come home to Utah and be with my family and I find myself in the biggest battle of my life — to save my identity." He also states,"They stole something from me that Im not going to give up." There were no other comments coming from the Take-two Interactive representative. He did not recall to any thing the press questioned.
