The Perfect General Internet Edition Released
August 14th, 2003 (12:00am) - This morning Killer Bee Software released their revival of the classic abstract tank strategy game, The Perfect General Internet Edition. The game is available for online credit card purchase and immediate download at http://killerbeesoftware.com. Retail price is $20, or $25 when bundled with the WWII Battle Set Scenario Collection.
The Perfect General Internet Edition is a turn based strategy game, with the ability to challenge either human or computer opponents. Players spend "buy points" to purchase units such as tanks, artillery and infantry, place them on a map, and try to capture and hold strategic areas while blowing up the countryside. The Perfect General Internet Edition is played in matches, where you have a chance to prove your mettle on both sides of the battlefield. The scenarios are not always balanced, but the changing of sides evens the score. The winner is often the one who can play the game better when at a disadvantage.
