Satoru Iwata Confirms the Development of Donkey Konga
 August 17th, 2003 (12:00am) - When news first broke out on Nintendo and Namco’s upcoming Donkey Konga, many were hoping that it was just a rumor that was taken too seriously, or something else along those lines. Well, it’s true. Nintendo’s president Satoru Iwata confirmed the development of the game, a game featuring Donkey Kong “with a fashion sense”. Being developed by the Namco team who worked on the popular Taiko no Tatsujin series on the PlayStation 2, Donkey Konga will be packaged with a Conga Drum controller.
The game is expected to be released this Holiday Season in JAPAN.
