August 19^th, 2003 (12:00am) - HAL Labs, the internal Nintendo developer responsible for games such as Super Smash Bros. Melee and the upcoming Kirby’s Air Ride, seems to be causing a few rumblings in the Nintendo Underground. Rumor has it that HAL is supposedly having “conflicts” with Nintendo, as did the studio’s famed producer and Kirby creator Masahiro Sakurai. HAL has just recently gone through some restructuring, as it relocates its studio from the Pokemon Center in Chuo Tokyo to Chyioda-ku Tokyo, a move which caused all this commotion.
