Electronic Arts to Support the N-Gage

August 27th, 2003 (12:00am) - Nokia today announced an agreement with Electronic Arts, the world’s leading interactive entertainment software company, to deliver select EA titles for the highly anticipated Nokia N-Gage platform. Beginning this year for the holiday season, EA will deliver some of its leading game titles for the Nokia N-Gage, the world’s first mobile and connected game deck that will be available globally on October 7, 2003.

"This is a great opportunity for us to extend titles from EA SPORTS and EA GAMES onto a new and exciting game platform," said EA Executive Vice President of North American Publishing Nancy Smith. "We plan to make use of all the great features of the Nokia N-Gage."

In recent years, EA has set a new industry standard on game design and interactive gameplay," said Ilkka Raiskinen, Senior Vice President, Entertainment and Media Business Unit, Nokia Mobile Phones.
