Tales of Symphonia Breaks 200,000 With First Day Sales!

August 29th, 2003 (12:00am) - Namco’s exclusive GameCube RPG, Tales of Symphonia was just released in Japan, and after the day was done the GameCube’s Cel Shaded RPG sold a whopping 204,538 on its first day. Of course, compared to RPG releases such as Final Fantasy X and X2 which sold 1 million+ on their first day, Tales of Symphonia isn’t too impressive when you stack it up against a huge PlayStation 2 RPG, but with the GameCube’s userbase, it’s a similar impact.
