TerraForge Announces Yummiverse
December 9th, 2003 (12:00am) - TerraForge has introduced Yummiverse, a multi-platform digital card game, on new game site Yummiverse.com which opens today. The game is scheduled for release in June 2004.
Yummiverse players battle against opponents with creatures, spells, and wits using a vast collection of hundreds of collectible playing cards to build their own decks, find other players, and defeat them in battle. The vast number of cards, combined with abilities gained from in-game schools, supply players with millions of combinations to build their own unique deck -- no two are exactly alike. Players can buy, sell or trade their cards with any other player or the online store using the Yummiverse specific financial system. The more a player interacts with the environment the more abilities they gain and cards they can acquire. All players are ranked within their guild and across the entire system. The Yummiverse.com site provides visitors with an overview of the Yummiverse story, characters, release information, and developer logs. Demos and movies will be added at a later date.
