Midways Ozzy & Drix Ships for the Game Boy Advance
December 16th, 2003 (12:00am) - Midway Delivers the Popular Kids WB! Animated Series to Handheld Gamers Everywhere
Midway Games Inc., a leading software industry publisher and developer, announced today Ozzy & Drix, the highly rated Warner Bros. Animation series airing on Kids WB! has shipped for the Game Boy Advance. The inner-body, buddy-cop comedy on Kids WB!, Ozzy & Drix, comes to life on the Game Boy Advance as gamers embark on a totally contagious, infectious, gross-out adventure with the popular animated characters based on the major motion picture Osmosis Jones. Ozzy, a white blood cell "cop" and Drix, his over-the-counter cold pill sidekick, battle infections within the "City of Hector"--the body of thirteen year-old Hector Cruz(TM). Theyre "private eyes" ready to wipe out anything that threatens Hectors health and happiness, such as the common cold, otherwise known as the "Phlegm-alanche." "Were excited to bring this hit animated television series from Kids WB! to life on the Game Boy Advance," said Mark Beaumont, senior vice president - entertainment, Midway. "Gamers will love competing as Ozzy, the baddest white blood cell in the body, and his brilliant sidekick Drix." Ozzy & Drix spend their days and nights guiding the "City of Hector" through the dangers, trials and tribulations of adolescence. Gamers can whiz down a blood cell highway in the "Cel Camino" traveling from brain to heart and shoulder to spleen. Reported by Dan Blomberg on December 16th, 2003 (12:00am)
