Digital Independence Conference for Independent Content Creates
December 16th, 2003 (12:00am) - The Digital Independence Conference (DI2004) January 31st & February 1st at the San Francisco Marriott, will take a broader look at what it means to be an independent content creator today. Attendees will have the opportunity to submit a game design document to be used as a critique model during a workshop session sponsored by the Independent Games Festival, "Creating a Winning Pitch." Current panelists include Kurt Busch - V.P. Product Development for Konami, Mark DeLoura - Manager of Developer Relations, Sony Computer Entertainment and 2004 Judge at the Independent Games Festival, Alan Yu - Director of the Game Developers Conference and Tracy Fullerton - Professor, game and interactive design, USC. From filmmakers to game designers, Journalists to digital artists, DI2004 seeks to unite indie content creators to identify and develop existing and potential collaboration opportunities to help strengthen and develop a more Interdependent community among todays indies.
