Namco Announces Four New Tales Games, Including a GameCube Sequel!

January 26th, 2004 (12:00am) - With Tales of Symphonia scheduled for a release sometime in the Summer for North America, chances are that most of you reading this have yet to play Namco’s GameCube-exclusive cel-shaded RPG, that is unless importing is an option. Nevertheless, Namco has announced that a sequel to the GameCube’s Tales of Symphonia is on the way, going by the name of Tales of Legendia, and is scheduled for release later this year featuring GameCube/GBA Connectivity, being published by none other than Nintendo themselves.

How the GameCube/GBA Connectivity will be utilized has yet to be disclosed, however Namco has also announced three additional Tales games, and one of them is a Game Boy Advance title that has been left unnamed at the moment (also being published by Nintendo). The others are the PlayStation 2’s Tales of Truthia, the sequel to Tales of Eternia, which will continue the traditional 2D Battle System of its predecessor, and a new fan disc in development for the PlayStation One called Tales of Phantom 2.

More as it comes…
