Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc Has Gone Gold!
January 30th, 2004 (12:00am) - Enlight, a leading entertainment software developer and publisher, announced today that its highly anticipated title Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc has gone gold. Inspired by the captivating story of Joan of Arc, Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc sends players on an epic adventure through medieval Europe to fight the greatest battles in the history of the Hundred Years War.

Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc features a unique blend of action and RTS elements that allows players to engage in intense melee combat with the ability to switch and control four playable characters on-the-fly. At the same time, players tactical skills will be challenged in commanding massive armies. Featuring traditional RPG elements as well, players will develop their characters in six attributes, upgrade their weapons, armor and combo attacks. Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arcs new state-of-the-art 3D graphics engine takes advantage of the features found in DirectX. The medieval French countryside, along with its forests, valleys, rolling hills and villages, are all accurately depicted and special effects such as dynamic generation of grass and varying weather environments will directly affect the gameplay during major battles. The PC release of Wars and Warriors: Joan of Arc is being published by Enlight Interactive, and will be available at major retail stores across North America on February 10th and the UK on February 20th.
