Nintendo DS Gains THQ Support
February 22nd, 2004 (12:00am) - Since the announcement of the Nintendo DS, publishing giants such as SEGA, Konami, and Namco have announced plans to release games on Nintendo’s dual-screened portable. However, no American publishing houses had yet to announce any plans for Nintendo’s “third pillar.” That was until today…
At a recent “analyst day” THQ confirmed its support of the Nintendo DS. This confirmation comes from THQ’s new focus on publishing games from their wholly owned development subsidiaries. Specifically, developer Helixe is currently focusing on the development of titles for both the Game Boy Advance and Nintendo DS.
