March 4^th, 2004 (12:00am) - England finally will be receiving their big break of having an international football (american soccer) league on a video game, England International Football. Codemasters, the makers of England Internation Football, will be releasing their hit title for PS2 and XBox, in May.

At last, football fans can enjoy footie action on Xbox Live, playing together with friends or competing against rivals," Michel Cassius, senior director, Xbox Platform and Marketing. "Xbox Live’s unique voice chat feature will bring a great sense of co-operation and ease of play to the pitch."

The so called, "Xbox exclusive" version will be the only football gaming title where gamers can go head-to-head on the Xbox Live. Nick Wheelwright, Codemasters’ Managing Director says, "It’s a massive coup to win the rights to the England team for England International Football ? we can now provide the England football fan with the true England international match day experience. On Xbox, it’s immensely pleasing to deliver the first football game ever to feature Xbox Live online play."

There will be realistic facial expressions during the gameplay. 3d Modeling will follow to a better aspect as the game progresses. There will also be realistic training, practices, and a full-functioned season mode to go along with the fun. With over 20 original teams to choose from, England International Football will be available in the UK which is due in May.
