SOCOM II Patch available for download
 March 10th, 2004 (12:00am) - The first gameplay patch for SOCOM II: US Navy Seals was released today and is available now for download. To download it, simply logon to SOCOM II like normal and the game will ask you to download it. You cannot play the game anymore without downloading the patch.
Sony and Zipper haven’t released any info on the patch so there’s no word on what it officially does but some of them are obvious such as common bugs and glitches gone, some options are changed and some guns seemed to have more balance. This is the first update for the game and saves to your memory card. Later this month the HDD will be out and the big updates will go to that, with the new skins and new maps such as Rock Slide.
