Major League Gaming Announces Its Next Tournament
April 1st, 2004 (12:00am) - Major League Gaming (MLG), the preeminent worldwide console gaming league for professional video game players, today announced that its next tournament will be held April 17-18, 2004 in Dallas, TX. The event, “The Dallas Regional”, which is part of the 10-event 2004 MLG season presented by Nokia N-Gage, will take place at the Area 51 Nightclub (703 McKinney Dallas, TX). Area 51 is being taken over by MLG for a weekend of fierce gaming competition in one of the coolest environments in the Lone Star State! A minimum of $15,000 in cash will be awarded to tournament winners. Games Halo™ – Free-For-All and 3 vs. 3 team event. Saturday and Sunday. -$50 registration. Soul Calibur II™ - Double elimination tournament. Saturday and Sunday. -$25 registration. Gran Turismo 3™ - Double elimination tournament. Saturday only. -$25 registration. ESPN NFL 2K4™ - Double elimination tournament. Saturday only. -$25 registration. ESPN NBA 2K4™ - Double elimination tournament. Sunday only. -$25 registration.
