Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki Release Info
April 23rd, 2004 (12:00am) - Intelligent Systems’ upcoming GameCube strategy game, Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki (or “Trail of the Blue Flame”), is scheduled for a 2004 release in Japan.
While this may not clear things up much, it’s expected that the game will hit Japanese retail shelves sometime in November or December. As for a North American release of the game, it’s still up in the air. For the past ten years Nintendo has been hesitant with releasing Fire Emblem games in North America, with the first being the Game Boy Advance’s self titled Fire Emblem. However, many online retailers have already listed the title on GameCube release lists with many revealing a February 2005 release and even a few that go as far as saying a release for December of this year. Fire Emblem: Souen no Kiseki will bring an all new 3D world for the franchise’s GameCube debut, featuring 3D maps and fight sequences.
