New Legend of Zelda Tidbits
May 12th, 2004 (12:00am) - According to GameCube Heaven, the earth shattering GameCube Legend of Zelda game unveiled at Nintendo’s press conference yesterday is actually running on an enhanced version of The Wind Waker engine.
For many months, Nintendo had stated that next GameCube Zelda game would be running on The Wind Waker engine and when the first images and footage of this new title was revealed, many may have thought Nintendo’s previous statements to have been lies, but we now know this is not the case. In addition, it has been revealed that this Zelda game will feature an all new dynamic camera system, which can be noticed somewhat in Nintendo’s official Legend of Zelda trailer. And finally, neither Shigeru Miyamoto nor TWW director Eiji Aonuma will be directing this latest Zelda game. A new and, as of the moment, unnamed director is heading the game’s development, with Miyamoto-san and Aonuma-san playing the roles of Producer.
