Collectible Cards Offered with Limited Edition Release of Duel Masters: Sempai Legends
 May 21st, 2004 (12:00am) - Atari and Wizards of the Coast, a subsidiary of Hasbro, today announced that a limited edition run of Duel Masters: Sempai Legends will ship to retail with collectible Duel Masters cards from the hit trading card game.
"Atari is excited to offer official Duel Masters cards with every Limited Edition Duel Masters: Sempai Legends," said Nancy MacIntyre, vice president of Marketing and Public Relations for Atari’s Beverly studio. "Atari created Duel Masters: Sempai Legends with significant support from Wizards of the Coast and Hasbro to ensure that the Game Boy Advance product is a perfect complement to the Duel Masters universe. Duel Masters: Sempai Legends is an extension of the Duel Masters trading card game, a place where fans can hone their skills and lose themselves in the rich story behind the popular trading card game." beyond Pre-order program at participating retailers to ensure that dedicated gamers will have an opportunity to reserve their copies of the limited edition Duel Masters: Sempai Legends Duel Masters: Sempai Legends offers a story-driven experience. The player inherits a valuable Duel Masters card from his grandfather but, before he can add it to his deck, it is stolen by a mysterious man. As a result, the player must travel through a dangerous world inhabited by rival duelists in the hopes of regaining his stolen property. Along the way, the player enters tournaments and gains the experience to some day become a Kaijudo Master. Duel Masters: Sempai Legends is scheduled to ship June 1, 2004.
