Live Alerts Comes to Xbox Live
June 1st, 2004 (12:00am) - Want to know when the next Xbox Live TM tournament or competition is taking place? Want to find out when you can get your hands on great new downloadable content for your favourite game – as soon as its available and before anyone else on your friends list?
Now you can, and it couldnt be easier. From today, you can sign up to Live Alerts, the great new service available on Xbox Live from Xbox.com. Live Alerts allow gamers to receive game invites whilst on their PC from any other Xbox Live gamers on their Friends List. When gamers log on or play Xbox Live they will receive a message telling them which of their friends are also logged on, as well as information on up-coming Xbox Live events and announcements of hot new games. So whether its for a quick three laps on RalliSport Challenge 2 or an exciting tęte-a-tęte match on Top Spin, gamers can jump into great gaming experiences at a moments notice.
