World Championship Snooker 2004 Worldwide Release and Patch
July 9th, 2004 (12:00am) - Today, Codemasters’ PC version of World Championship Snooker 2004 has been released across the rest of the world (its UK release was last Friday, July 2nd) and Codemasters has released a patch to go along with it.

All graphics cards now work correctly, there should be no more incorrect shadows or white flashing balls on non shader cards (e.g. GeForce 4 MX440) All red shadows on Vintage Snooker Balls should now be gone, again this was an issue with non shader cards (e.g. GeForce 4 MX440) Selecting "Quit" from a network game, will now correctly take you back to the Network Game screen as opposed to the Single Player Snooker Screen On occasion the Cue may have previously appeared underneath the Baulk Line on the table, this issue has been addressed and no longer occurs The Numpad is now active when entering IP Adresses for Network Games You may now chat to opponents during Network and Internet games by pressing the"/" key, then typing what you wish to say and hitting return. The text that appears on screen will vanish again after a while There has been a spelling mistake corrected when quitting the LG Tour Mode
