Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force is set to release September 21, 2004 to coincide with the launch of highly anticipated Star Wars Trilogy DVD.
Developed by Ubisoft’s Montreal studio, Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force will challenge gamers to adventure through the most exciting and memorable scenes from the classic Star Wars movies. The game allows gamers to take part in unique co-operative single-player and competitive multiplayer modes, and participate in other memorable Star Wars-based tests. Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force will be the only handheld game dedicated to the entire Star Wars Trilogy saga. Some key elements of the game include:
Achieve victory with moves including the Jedi Power Slash, the Force Push, and the Jedi Jump. Use R2-D2 to unlock key elements, assisting Luke in cooperative single-player adventures. Compete in fast-paced dogfight and capture-the-flag multiplayer modes. Action-packed driving challenges will test player’s reflexes as they pilot an X-wing across space, and drive lightning-fast Imperial speeder bikes through the Endor forest. Unlock authentic rare Star Wars Trilogy movie stills and content direct from the classic A New Hope, Empire Strikes Back, and Return of the Jedi movies. "Star Wars is an exciting, vibrant, and storied franchise for both movies and video games," said Tony Kee, vice president marketing, Ubisoft. "We’re proud and thrilled to bring the ’best of’ the Star Wars experience to the Game Boy Advance with Star Wars Trilogy: Apprentice of the Force. It’s a perfect gift for the holidays, and is an automatic ’must-have’ for every movie or video game fan aged five to 50."
