Atlus Launches Pro Fishing Challenge Website

July 14th, 2004 (12:00am) - Atlus U.S.A., Inc., announced today the launch of the official Pro Fishing Challenge website featuring Cassy Coelho, Atlus’ E3 spokesmodel for 2004 who was made infamous among the gaming community on IGN.com’s E3 article, “Unsung Cassy” which detailed her troublesome antics at E3 which eventually led her to being escorted off the show floor. The Pro Fishing Challenge website will feature the latest screenshots, movies and desktop wallpaper featuring Ms. Coelho. Pro Fishing Challenge is the only Xbox Live enabled fishing simulation and is currently being developed by Opus Corporation. It is due for release in the summer of 2004.

Cassy will also be featured in Pro Fishing Challenge’s ad campaign that will run in top video game magazines and consumer magazines including Electronic Gaming Monthly, Official Xbox Magazine and Xbox Nation.

"When it came time to pick our spokesmodel for Pro Fishing Challenge, choosing Cassy was a no-brainer." said Gail Salamanca, Marketing Manager, Atlus U.S.A., Inc. "Her “bad girl” personality coupled with her knock out looks made her a natural choice!"

Cassy had this to say when asked about her participation in Pro Fishing Challenge’s ad campaign, “Who do you think he’s fooling around here? The only reason why Gail chose me to be in the ad campaign is because he likes me. He’s cool and all, but it’s not like I’d go out with the guy or anything... Hey, you’re not going to post this online or anything, are you?”
