The Ubrz Coming to the Nintendo DS
 July 15th, 2004 (12:00am) - Electronic Arts has officially announced that The Ubrz: Sims in the City is in development for the Nintendo DS, scheduled to ship in November of this year as one of the dual screened handheld’s very first games.
"We’re thrilled that this new franchise is the first from Electronic Arts to illustrate the power of the Nintendo DS. On the Nintendo DS, we are able to do things with The Urbz: Sims in the City that we could not do with any other console. Like the system itself, this game is completely unique. Never before have Sims players been able to unleash their alter egos in an urban environment - complete with the sounds, scenes and settings of the city," said Vice President and Executive Producer Sinjin Bain. Exclusive features for the Nintendo DS version of The Urbz include:
twenty-four objects
five minigames
seven characters
eight pet species created in-game with the "gene manipulator"
unique touch-screen menu system
