LucasArts Gets New VP of Marketing To Join The Dark Side
July 23rd, 2004 (12:00am) - LucasArts president Jim Ward announced today that they have hired John Geoghegan as their Vice President of Marketing for their video and computer game developing and publishing company.
Having about 20 years of marketing, communications, and advertising experience, Geoghegan has worked for some world-reknown companies such as Sun Microsystems, Procter & Gamble, Sprint, Nestlé, British Airways, Dupont and Chevron. Ward states, "The global outlook and creative sensibilities that John has developed in his 20 years in advertising and marketing will be enormously influential for LucasArts as we expand our business. Our recent hits like Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic and Star Wars Galaxies have been a great start, and upcoming powerhouses like Star Wars Battlefront and Mercenaries are going to take us to the next level.
