July 27^th, 2004 (12:00am) - Rallisport 2 fans rejoice! At approximately 5 p.m. Pacific time on Monday, Microsoft and DICE went online with the long awaited patch for Rallisport Challenge 2.

What was changed/fixed?

• fixed glitches


• fixed problems with points getting added right


• fixed incorrect unlocking for skins


• added better voice ability (basically 4 players can now talk to everyone)


• added challenges


• added a way to see the top of a leaderboard

What does it mean? Well basically it means this: those of you who were cheating and using exploits to use the PP Tacoma on every track to set the fastest time can no longer cheat, nor can you cut corners. DICE has gone back and made sure all of the tracks must be raced the way they were intended, which is good news for fans that wanted to accurately see how their times ranked on the game’s various leaderboards. The bad news, however, is that in order for this to take place DICE had to reset the scoreboards entirely.

In order to download the update simply place the RSC2 disc into the Xbox and log onto Live. The download takes mere seconds.
